Homecoming Dance Tickets are $15 and will be on sale from September 8th-12th during all lunches. No tickets will be sold at the door. If you are bringing a student from another school, you will need to get a waiver. You can get a waiver using the QR code on the flyer, in front of Ms. Long's classroom, in the front office, or at the dance ticket sales table.
Do you love to dance? Are you interested in being on a competition dance team, performing locally, or joining a dance family? Then you should join the Aiken High School Dance Company! This audition based club is for anyone who loves to dance and perform -- no experience required! You will train weekly in Jazz, Hip Hop and Pom. We will compete against other schools and attend SC Dance Association events. There will be an informational meeting for the AHS Dance Company on Monday, September 14th from 3:30 - 4:00 PM in Ms. Mims' Dance Room, F-9. The 2025 CSRA College Night event is right around the corner, Thursday, September 11th 5pm-8pm at the Augusta Convention Center in downtown Augusta, GA. The event is for all high school students grades 9-12. Explore over 100 College and Universities; Connect with college representatives throughout the United States; Seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher may register to win a $1,000.00 scholarship; Attend seminars on SC & GA Financial Aid, Financial Literacy, SRS Apprenticeships; Visit the Career Exploration Center & Counseling Center to help guide your school/career path; and Learn about workforce opportunities at the Savannah River Site.
