Yes, that’s right! We voted to change our name to include all types of gamers. We will meet this week after school on Tuesday, August 19, from 3:35 pm- 4:35 pm. This meeting we plan on a board/card game focus. Bring any board/card game you would like to play (Ms. Hight has Uno, Exploding Kittens, Happy Dinosaurs, and Kids Against Maturity).

Students interested in applying to one of the Military Academies are encouraged to register and attend the South Carolina Military Academy Day at The Citadel on September 6th from 9AM-11AM. The 2025 CSRA College Night event is right around the corner, Thursday, September 11th 5pm-8pm at the Augusta Convention Center in downtown Augusta, GA. The event is for all high school students grades 9-12. Explore over 100 College and Universities; Connect with college representatives throughout the United States; Seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher may register to win a $1,000.00 scholarship; Attend seminars on SC & GA Financial Aid, Financial Literacy, SRS Apprenticeships; Visit the Career Exploration Center & Counseling Center to help guide your school/career path; and Learn about workforce opportunities at the Savannah River Site.
FBLA is selling tickets for a movie night on Friday, August 15th from 5:30-8PM in the AHS Auditorium. It's just $6 to come and watch "Thunderbolts" on the big screen! They will be selling burgers, hot dogs, nachos, chips and drinks for $2-5. No outside food is allowed. Please see any FBLA member or Ms. Lafayette in room A206 to purchase your tickets.
