The Seamless Summer Meal Program returns for Summer 2025! The ACPSD Child Nutrition Program will be offering nutritious meals at no cost for children aged 18 and under, as well as for individuals with disabilities up to age 21. Meals will be served Monday through Thursday from June 2 to June 26, 2025.

There will be a Spring Piano Recital on Wednesday, May 21st at 6:30PM in the AHS Auditorium. Admission is free .


Any incoming freshman - mark your calendars now! We will be holding a Freshman Hornet Hangout on July 11th from 12:30-4:30PM in the AHS Auditorium. There will be games, club information, prizes and lots of information shared. Come join us!

FBLA will be holding a fundraiser Car Wash on June 21, 28 and July 19, 26 at the McDonald's on Whiskey Road in Aiken from 8AM-4PM. Cars are $8, van/SUVs are $10 and Trucks are $15. Come out, get a clean ride and support your AHS FBLA!


Senior Checkout day for laptops will be May 19, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, in the gymnasium. Charge your laptop the night before so that it can be turned on.
Please turn in any devices that have a broken screen or hinge before Senior checkout on May 19th, so that there are not any unexpected fees on your PowerSchool account. Please CHARGE your laptop the night before - we will need to see it turned on when you check it in.
If a senior is done with testing and wants to turn in their laptop before May 19th, please feel free do so by bringing it to Rm. C112 or to the Media Center.
Before you turn your laptop in, please do the following:
Remove usb dongles.
Remove all marker/pencil markings ($10 fee is applicable if dirty)
Remove all stickers, personal pictures ($10 fee is applicable for stickers on laptop)
Clean screen with a microfiber cloth
Wipe any dirt off keyboards with a damp cloth
Bring power adapters ($25 fee if student doesn't have it – pay the bookkeeper and show receipt when turning in)
No charge for covers as wear and tear is inevitable from taking in and out of bookbags.

We are excited to invite elementary students to participate in our upcoming L.I.T. (Leaders in Training) Program, a fun and engaging summer opportunity designed especially for elementary students!
This FREE week-long program will run from June 2nd through June 6th, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM each day at Aiken High School. Sponsored by Write to Change, Bread Loaf School of English, and Leadership Aiken, the L.I.T. Program focuses on developing literacy, numeracy, and leadership skills — all while having a blast!

The Aiken High School Instrumental Music Department will present its final concert of the school year on Thursday, May 15th at 7pm in the AHS Auditorium! This concert will feature the AHS Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Orchestra performing music by Coldplay, Nirvana, ELO and more!
This concert is open to the public and admission is free! Don't miss it!

Seniors, please be aware of the proper dress code for graduation. Ladies must wear a dress that cannot be seen above or below the graduation gown, dress shoes (flats or heels) and their graduation gown, cap/tassel and stole. Gentlemen must wear a dress shirt and tie, dress pants and dress shoes and socks, along with their graduation gown, cap/tassel and stole. The graduation cap should be worn with the mortarboard parallel to the floor and the tassel hanging to the wearer's right.
