ATTENTION AHS JUNIORS - The Class of 2027 Ring Ceremony will be on September 16th at 6:00pm in the Aiken High School Auditorium. All ring balances must be paid prior to the ceremony. Ring Ceremony Practice will be on September 16th during 4th block in the auditorium. Students will be called to the practice. If you still want to order a ring, visit Jostens.com. The 2025 CSRA College Night event is right around the corner, Thursday, September 11th 5pm-8pm at the Augusta Convention Center in downtown Augusta, GA. The event is for all high school students grades 9-12. Explore over 100 College and Universities; Connect with college representatives throughout the United States; Seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher may register to win a $1,000.00 scholarship; Attend seminars on SC & GA Financial Aid, Financial Literacy, SRS Apprenticeships; Visit the Career Exploration Center & Counseling Center to help guide your school/career path; and Learn about workforce opportunities at the Savannah River Site.

On Early Dismissal Days, elementary school students are dismissed at 11:30 a.m., middle school students at 12:10 p.m., and high school students at 12:30 p.m.
Early dismissal times are slightly different for Aiken Scholars Academy (ASA), as well as our schools in the Ridge Spring area. ASA early dismissal will be at noon, Ridge Spring-Monetta (RSM) Elementary is at 11:55 a.m., RSM Middle at 12:15 p.m. and RSM High at 12:20 p .m. The ASPIRE Evening Program will not be held tomorrow.
These Early Dismissal Days are part of the 2025-26 Aiken County Public School District Calendar and are necessary to support state-wide required teacher training. Please make any necessary arrangements for your child's early dismissal. Elementary school student after school care through Quest Zone is available.
