Join us on Tuesday, April 22nd at 6:30 PM in the AHS Auditorium for "Hornets Got Talent", where our amazing students will take the stage to showcase their unique skills and hidden talents! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded. Admission is free! Any student wishing to participate needs to see Ms. Wright.
Tryouts for Aiken High Cheerleading will be April 28th through May 1st from 4-5:30PM in the James A. Taylor Gym! Tryout Information Packets and Permission Forms are available in the Aiken High Main Office. Students interested in trying out must have a current physical, as of April 1, 2025. The meeting is open to all interested students/parents that are currently in Grades 8 – 11 (Rising 9th – 12th Graders). We hope to see you there…GO HORNETS!

Do you enjoy dance, music, art, and theater? Then the Aiken High School Color Guard is for you! The color guard adds color, choreography, costumes, theatrics, and artistic expression to the AHS Marching Band!
The Marching Band was named Class Champion and Division Champion at the 2024 Midland Valley Mustang Classic and has qualified for State Finals 3 out of the last 5 years. The Color Guard has played a HUGE part of that success!
Tryouts will be held in the AHS Band Room from 4-6pm during the week of April 28th!

The Aiken High School Marching Band begins training for the 2025 season on April 29th, 4-5pm in the Band Room! There will be a Parent Orientation Meeting on May 20th from 6-7PM in the AHS Band room.
The AHS Marching Band earned the titles of Class Champion and Division Champion at the 2024 Mustang Classic and qualified for State Finals in 2019, 2021, and 2023!

From sitting inside a real fire truck and ambulance to learning about firefighting gear firsthand, our students had an amazing time exploring and asking questions.
