Aiken High School’s Educators Rising would like to invite you and your children to enjoy “A Royal Family Ball - Under the Sea” in the Aiken High School cafeteria on Friday, May 8th, from 6:00-8:30 PM. This event is for families with young children to experience a “prom-like” event, where they get to dress up in fancy clothes, dance to fun music, eat delicious snacks, make crafts, play games, enjoy other activities, and take pictures of the memories!
Tickets are available on GoFan.com. See the link and QR Code in the picture. Costs are $5.00 for each child ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old (children 2 + under are free). All children must be accompanied by an adult family member (18-years-old and up). Costs for adult tickets are $10.00.

Your vote matters! On Thursday, April 30th, the Student Government candidates will try to win your vote! Campaign Day will take place by grade level according to the flyer. Students will meet in the cafeteria to hear and vote for their favorite candidates. Bring your laptops with you!
Nine of Mrs. Franklin’s Early Childhood Education students passed the Praxis Paraprofessional Exam. This allows them to get a job in a public school as a teacher’s assistant or other role directly interacting with students.

We are looking for dedicated and energetic students for JV Squad, Varsity Squad, Mascot, and our inaugural Competitive Cheer Squad.

These courses will begin at the end of this month. Students enrolled will be required to complete their exams at AHS prior to the start of the 2027–2028 school year. Please note that space is limited and enrollment is first-come, first-served across the district.
To register, students must meet with their counselor and obtain a signed registration form.
If this is your first time taking a virtual course, it is essential that you also create a VirtualSC account (instructions are included on the registration form).
A second round of virtual summer courses will not be available until the end of the school year. If you are interested in taking a course this summer, we strongly encourage you to register now if ACVA offers the course you need.
Students should also be mindful of promotion requirements. If you believe you may be short on credits, please speak with your counselor about whether a virtual course could help you meet those requirements. Please note students are limited to two virtual courses per semester.

Senior: 18 total credits required, including 3 English, 3 Math, and 2 Science
Junior: 12 total credits required, including 2 English, 2 Math, and 1 Science
