The AHS All Sports Athletic Booster Club needs the community support and participation in the 1st Annual Booster Club Golf Tournament. With your participation in this tournament it will help support our student athletes, athletics department, and help minor upgrades to our athletic facilities. We need the entire community support to make this tournament a success. Deadline to become tournament sponsor is March 1st and Deadline to register your team and accepting individual player is March 31st.

Student Government Applications are out! If you are interested in running for office for the 2025-2026 school year, grab a gold application from C259A. If you don't want an officer position but you still want to participate in SGA, grab a green application. All applications are due to C259A by March 18th.
Come and play with us! The Videogame Club meets during Homeroom and Wednesdays after school in room C256. The first two Wednesdays are for campaigns, like Dungeons and Dragons. The last two Wednesdays are video game focused. Bring your favorite board games or card games too! Snacks are usually provided.

If you have five or more unexcused absences and need Attendance Recovery, or have less than 60% for Q3, you are eligible to sign up for Spring Intercession. CLASS OF 2026: Mark your calendars! Senior photo dates are here!! All seniors must take their senior photos on May 16th or 17th or July 18th or 19th to have their picture in the yearbook next year. The Hornet Yearbook will NOT accept photo submissions. Selecting your photo for the yearbook is FREE and done the day that you take your photos, however, order forms will be available on site if you wish to purchase. Join us on February 24th for our Black History Month presentation in the AHS Auditorium. Our Performing Arts Department will showcase the beauty of Black heritage. Our students will enjoy this presentation during the school day. The public showing will be at 6:30 PM.

The Aiken High School Band had outstanding results at Region and All-State Band auditions recently, with 9 out of the 10 students who auditioned making it into an Honor Band!
Sophomore tuba player RJ Meyer qualified for All-State Band!
Seniors Joanna Brown (flute) and Juniors Ryan Crapse (trombone), Morgan Meesseman (trumpet), and Grace Turner (clarinet) were accepted into the Region 2 Senior Honor Band!
Sophomores Alexandra Davis (tuba) and Meredith Perry (clarinet) qualified for the Region 2 Clinic Honor Band!
Senior Emma Snipes (alto saxophone) and Freshman Journee Bonaparte (percussion) were accepted into the Region 2 Alternate Band!
