We’re excited to share a new initiative from our school cafeteria that supports healthy eating for all students, whether they buy lunch or bring it from home!
Starting this week, students who bring lunchboxes from home can add sides of fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, and more at NO COST from the cafeteria. What does this mean for you? No cost, no hassle, just nutritious additions to help round out their meals. Please note that these same items are available for students who already participate in school lunch.
Why this matters and how it benefits you and your student:
● Healthy habits: Adding fruits and veggies boosts energy, focus, and overall wellness.
● No more packing produce: Skip the apple slices or baby carrots, we’ve got it covered!
● Convenience for families: One less item to pack each morning, knowing your child has access to wholesome options at school.
● Inclusive nutrition: Every student deserves access to fresh food, regardless of where their lunch comes from.
We encourage all families to take advantage of this opportunity. It’s a simple way to support your child’s health and make mornings a little easier.
