We are excited to invite elementary students to participate in our upcoming L.I.T. (Leaders in Training) Program, a fun and engaging summer opportunity designed especially for elementary students!
This FREE week-long program will run from June 2nd through June 6th, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM each day at Aiken High School. Sponsored by Write to Change, Bread Loaf School of English, and Leadership Aiken, the L.I.T. Program focuses on developing literacy, numeracy, and leadership skills — all while having a blast!
Highlights of the week include:
Teen mentorship to guide and inspire young learners
Arts and crafts to encourage creativity
Skill-building activities in reading, math, and leadership
A field trip to the zoo to make learning come alive!

Yearbook Distribution Day is May 9th! Yearbooks will be distributed in the James A. Taylor Gym. The schedule is: Seniors - 1st block, Juniors - 2nd block, Sophomores - 3rd block, Freshman - 4th block. Early dismissal, Late Arrival, Career Center students and any student with a conflict to this schedule need to email Mrs. Yarbrough. You will need your driver's license or school ID to pick yours up. Hello parents, there will be a Multilingual Learners 25 - 26 Registrations Night on Thursday, May 8th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Aiken High School in the Library. You will be able to register your children for the 2025 - 2026 school year. There will be Spanish speaking interpreters to assist you in registering your children.


The Senior Field Trip to Carowinds is May 10th, departing at 8am from Aiken High. Pick up your form and pay Dr. Hostetler by May 8th.

Aiken High School’s Educators Rising would like to invite you and your children to enjoy “A Royal Family Ball” in the Aiken High School cafeteria on May 9th from 6PM to 9PM. This event is for families with young children to experience a “prom-like” event, where they get to dress up in fancy clothes, dance to fun music, eat delicious snacks, make crowns, decorate “chalices,” enjoy other activities, and take pictures of the memories!
Tickets are available on GoFan.com see the link and QR Code in the picture. Costs are $5.00 for each child ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old (children 2 + under are free). All children must be accompanied by an adult family member (18-years-old and up). Costs for adult tickets are $10.00.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Students who are NOT registered for school by their parent/guardian by May 9th will NOT receive their class schedule or be able to participate in course drop/add in May.
This is a new policy and applies to all students. To ensure your child has full access to their 2025–2026 schedule and any necessary changes, please complete the registration before the deadline. You can complete your registration via your Parent Portal in PowerSchools. There will also be a Registration Session on Wednesday, May 7th from 2-6PM at Aiken High School in the Media Center. Please park in the auditorium parking lot and enter through the library patio.
