HOLD Standard Response Protocol
Aiken High School is currently in our Hold Standard Response Protocol due to concerns related to an image of a weapon posted on social media.
Law enforcement and school administration are actively investigating at this time.
During “Hold” students remain in their classroom with the classroom door locked. Normal instruction, and operations continue.
The student reported to have brought the contraband was quickly identified. Administration and law enforcement are interviewing this student and others for information. We appreciate the students who shared this concern promptly.
Please check back to the Live Feed section of our website for additional updates, which will be shared as they become available..
Patience is appreciated as we dedicate resources to ensuring the safety and working in collaboration with law enforcement to investigate this matter.
