Today's Homecoming Spirit Week theme is "Anything But a Backpack" and the only limitations were that it must fit through the door and cannot be alive. These gentlemen took those rules to heart! We snapped a quick picture before the dirt bikes were returned to the parking lot! We are loving the ingenuity!

Last Friday, Ms. Palm's art class had a Fun Friday in between units and designed and created origami fish! Students then proceeded to make fishing hooks out of paper clips and string and proudly dragged their catch of the day to their next class! We love to see the creativity!

College Application Day will be held in Silver Bluff's Media Center from 9am-12pm. We welcome all seniors to join us. Representatives will be on hand to assist with applying. Student Government presents Under the Stars Homecoming Dance! The dance will be Saturday, September 13th from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM in the commons. Tickets are $20 and are on sale now until September 11th during all 3 lunches. Students must sign a contract to purchase a ticket and fill out a form if planning to bring a date from outside of Silver Bluff. For any questions, please see Mrs. Robinson in Room 121.

Homecoming Spirit Week is next week! Come join in on the fun!!

Monday (9/8): Pajama Day - Students are invited to celebrate a day of ultimate comfort. Trade your regular school clothes for your favorite sleepwear, whether it's flannel pants, a cozy onesie, or your snuggliest robe.

Tuesday (9/9): Adam Sandler Day - Students can imitate Adam Sandler's style by wearing: oversized t-shirts, baggy basketball or gym shorts, a hoodie, puffer jacket, or oversized polo shirt. White tube socks pulled up high. Classic sneakers or slides.

Wednesday (9/10): Anything But a Bookbag (Item must fit through the door and it cannot be living) - Leave your bookbag at home and bring your supplies in anything but a backpack! This is your chance to get creative and think outside the box!

Thursday (9/11): Generations Day - Freshmen: Babies - onesies, fun bibs, or pigtails. Sophomores: Tweens/Middle Schoolers - bright colors, character shirts, and high socks. Juniors: Middle-Aged Parents - "dad" or "mom" clothes, yoga attire, or business professional outfits. Seniors: Senior Citizens - gray wigs, cardigans, and pearl necklaces.

Friday (9/12): Blue Out - Show your Bulldog pride by wearing everything blue to get ready for our Homecoming Pep Rally!!!

Congratulations to our very own A'Niyah Coates! The 25-26 school year launches a new opportunity for our biomedical science scholars at ACCTC. Ms. Tammie Newman, aunt of former student Emily Heath, established the Emily Heath Legacy Fund. This fund covers first year fees for three deserving students. As Ms. Newman noted, the fund provides students with "the 'financial wings' to soar into the Biomedical Sciences as our Emily would have wanted." Emily Heath was a student in the initial cohort of our Biomedical Science program, a pioneer of the Biomedical Science Outreach Team, and our first student to earn BACE certification.
