Aiken High

The Aiken High School Symphonic Band has earned a "Superior with Distinction" rating at Concert Performance Assessment for the 3rd consecutive year. The band performed three prepared pieces of music and read a 4th piece at sight before a panel of 4 judges at the event held at Lexington High School on Thursday, March 19th.
A rating of "Superior with Distinction" means that the band earned Superior ratings from each of the 4 judges and is the highest rating achievable. Additionally, Aiken High received perfect scores from 2 of the judges and was only 1 point off from perfect with a third. This the third "Superior with Distinction" in a row for the Aiken High School Band, having also earned them in 2024 and 2025.
