AHS 2025 Teacher of the Year - Ms. Clavero-DeMinck is our amazing Multilingual Learner (MLL) teacher. Her classroom is such a welcoming place for all our English Learners. Her concern for her students shines in every interaction she has with them. She is a fierce advocate for them and guides them every step of their academic journey. She is also an amazing colleague, who’s full of enthusiasm and positivity. We are so proud of her and happy that she is a very important part of our Hornet Family!
AHS 2025 First Year Teacher of the Year - Ms. Savannah Cade, an Earth Science teacher, is an integral part of our Science Department. Her enthusiasm and innovative lesson plans make her an exemplary first year teacher. Her concern for her students is evident in her interactions with them, and as a result, they are eager to engage in classroom activities. She has also been instrumental as a Freshman Academy teacher, and has been a valuable team player, helping our Freshman grow and succeed!
AHS 2025 GEM (Giving Even More) Employee of the Year – Ms. Franki Stevens is the friendly face you see when you enter the Guidance Office. She is always ready to help any parent, student or teacher who needs assistance. If she doesn’t know the answer, she will make it her mission to find out! Her outgoing, cheerful personality and willingness to go that extra mile makes her one of AHS’s greatest assets!
