Program Interest Nights will be held the week of October 21. Tuesday, October 22nd will focus on Health Science and Public Safety. Wednesday, October 23rd will focus on Human Services and Manufacturing. Thursday, October 24th will focus on Arts, Electricity, and Transportation. All Program Interest Nights will be drop ins from 5:00 to 7:00.
ACCTC will be hosting a Community Night on Tuesday, November 12th from 4:00 to 7:00. Everyone is welcome! There will be food trucks, door prizes, and activities for all ages!
Aiken iNNOVATE is now accepting applications! Our program offers a full-time virtual learning experience for students in grades 6-12 within the Aiken County Public School District. We welcome students who are self-motivated, disciplined, and ready to succeed in a flexible, home-based environment. REMINDER: Tomorrow, 9/18, is the last day to turn in permission forms for any male and female interested in running for Homecoming king/queen. Forms must be turned in to Mrs. Robinson in Room 121 by 3:30 PM. If you fail to return the permission form, you may not participate in Homecoming.
Student Government is selling strips to make a paper chain for childhood cancer awareness. We are doing this in competition with Barnwell High School. Whichever school sells the most strips will win a trophy at the home football game against Barnwell on September 27th. All money goes to the childhood cancer charity, Alex's Lemonade Stand. Be sure to see Student Government in the morning in the commons to purchase the strips. They are 4 for $1.00 and you will receive a yellow bracelet for childhood cancer awareness with your donation! Help us beat Barnwell!!!

Ensuring the Safety of Our Schools: Addressing Recent Rumors - We are aware of misinformation circulating throughout our schools and communities regarding rumored incidents of school violence at various campuses within our district.
Please know that these messages are being reposted and reshared at schools throughout our district and at schools throughout the state. Your children’s safety is our top priority. We take all threats seriously and work in collaboration with law enforcement to fully investigate each and every rumor and/or post that is shared. There is no active threat impacting the safety and security of any of our school campuses.
Rumors of this nature cause a great deal of concern, stress and anxiety. When those are shared on social media, the impact is far-reaching, and causes unnecessary concern for other parents, students, and staff, and divert critical resources away from genuine safety and security efforts.
If ever there is an actual incident of school violence at your child’s school or if a threat of violence at your child’s school warrants your attention, school and/or district communications will notify you. We are committed to sharing accurate information as quickly as situations allow.
We hope to never have to notify you of an actual event of school violence, and we are fully committed to maintaining the safety and security of our schools through a variety of safety measures and close collaboration with local law enforcement.
If you or your student ever have a safety concern, or if you hear a rumor of a safety concern, we ask that you immediately notify the appropriate authorities. This includes local law enforcement and the administration at the district office or the school involved.

JV Volleyball at W.J. Keenan has been cancelled for Thursday, 9/12. Only Varsity Volleyball will play, starting at 6:00 PM on Thursday, 9/12 at W.J. Keenan.
Due to incoming weather, the JV Football game against Fox Creek that was scheduled for Thursday, 9/12, has been cancelled. Varsity Football against Blackville-Hilda has now been moved to Thursday, 9/12, at Blackville-Hilda. Kick off is at 7:30 PM.

Seniors can sign up for either a Deluxe Session, which includes casual poses, or a Basic Yearbook Session (the formal portrait that is printed in the yearbook). All scheduling and payments should be made through the website. To be pictured in the yearbook, students must have a formal portrait taken.
