Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5, there is a threat of severe weather with wind gusts in the morning forecasted to exceed 40 mph. This wind speed exceeds the threshold allowed for school buses to be on roadways. This wind event will result in a need to shift to e-learning tomorrow.
Employees should plan to report to their work location on a two-hour delayed start, with no building or office opening before 10 a.m.
Afterschool extracurricular practices, games, and events will continue tomorrow as scheduled. There will be no QuestZone tomorrow.

Silver Bluff High School’s first-ever Science Bowl team competed in the SRNS Regional Science Bowl at USC-Aiken—and they made a strong debut! Our Bulldogs demonstrated their science and math expertise, earning 3rd place in their division.
We are incredibly proud of this team for making history and setting the bar for future competitors. Way to go, Bulldogs!

Prom Night is Saturday, March 22 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Big Red Barn on Chime Bell Church Road. Tickets are $35 each through the end of February. Ticket prices will increase to $50 each in March. Tickets may be purchased on the PowerSchool portal after all student fees are paid in full. Guests that do not attend SBHS must complete a visitor permission slip. See Ms. Mack in Room 155C if you have any questions.
Prom Bash will be held Friday, March 21 starting at 10:00 in the auditorium. Prom Bash is open to Juniors and Seniors who purchased prom tickets. You must have an arm band to attend Prom Bash, which will be distributed by Ms. Mack the week of prom with your prom tickets. Students will have the option to sign out early with parent permission.
Prom Bash will have:

-Raffle Prizes: TV, themed baskets, gift cards
-Lunch Provided: pulled pork sandwich, chips, drink, ice cream bar
-Food Truck for Snacks: bring extra money to purchase extra snacks
