We love our lunch (and breakfast) super heroes!

Our Spring Break takes place during the first two weeks of School Library Month. During the final two weeks of the month, the Library Media Center staff took the opportunity to sand and paint repurposed furniture from the old Wagener-Salley High School library. The revamped pieces now provide a more ergonomic workspace that supports the integration of 21st-century technology in our daily tasks, including student book check-in and check-out.
The previous 13-foot counter was relocated to another room to serve as a workspace and storage area for STEM equipment and materials. We extend a heartfelt thank you to volunteer, Mr. Chris Williams, for drilling holes in the furniture to accommodate technology cables and cords, and to our IT specialist Mr. Josh Harrison for streamlining and connecting those cables. We also appreciate the students who helped transform their library into a more spacious and enjoyable learning environment.

Today, in honor of National Principal's Day, Mrs. Carla Dupert was showered with gifts of appreciation. Thank you for all that you do for the students and staff at JMS!
