Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 21st, is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. If a student has late arrival or early dismissal, they are still expected to attend classes according to the modified bell schedule. AM Career Center students will report to the Career Center. PM Career Center students will not go to the Career Center and will report to the media center if they are on campus.

District Leadership made surprise visits at schools and offices across the District today to celebrate this year’s Stars of Public Education Honor Court. The recognition program and event honoring ACPSD’s brightest stars first began as our annual Teacher of the Year celebration, and has grown to incorporate recognition of our very best New Teachers, Principals, Assistant Principals, Classified Staff, Professionals, and District-Level Administrators. With its origin in mind, we’ll begin our first Stars of Public Education Honor Court announcements with Teacher of the Year.

Silver Bluff's Job Shadowing Day is January 30, 2026. Please pick up Job Shadowing Forms in the wall pocket by the front hallway entrance to the media center. Permission forms must be completed and turned in to Mrs. Crapse by January 27th.
ACCESS testing for students who are English Language Learners will be administered starting January 21 and will be completed by February 27, 2026.
Seniors! Please pay your $25 Senior Activity Fee by January 30th so that we can start planning spring events! This fee is for Seniors who plan to participate in Senior Breakfast, Senior Field Day, and any other celebratory events. The Varsity Girls game against Westminster scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

Student Government will be selling Chick-Fil-A biscuits on Thursday morning, December 18th. Biscuits will be $5.00 and will be sold by the auditorium entrance. Biscuits are first come, first served!
Semester exams are next week at Silver Bluff!
Students will take exams on December 17th and 18th, and make-up exams will be held on December 19th. All students must take their exams during the scheduled exam time. Seniors may be eligible for exam exemptions if they have earned a 90 or higher for Semester 1 (after all Q2 grades are entered).

Student Government has organized another door decorating contest for the Holiday Season! Students will decorate with their 2nd Block class, starting tomorrow, 12/8. Teachers who do not have a 2nd Block class are welcome to join another class to help decorate!
