Greendale IS SOARING!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our Greendale families! 🎉 Our school report card rating has increased from AVERAGE to GOOD, with an overall gain of 9 points! Even more exciting, we earned EXCELLENT ratings in both Student Growth and School Climate!
These accomplishments reflect the hard work of our incredible staff, the determination of our students, and the partnership of our families and community. Together, we are making a difference!

Today was #PrincipalForADayACPSD for the district and we were so lucky to have Tamisha Lawrence here at our school for the day! She went around and read to a bunch of classes, pulled the fire alarm and even made sure that the 2nd/3rd hallways were good to go during the fire alarm! Thank you so much for coming! 🏫🚌✏️

The SEED STEM Festival brings together our community for a day filled with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
More than 75 exhibitors—including regional businesses, national laboratories, government agencies, museums, professional
organizations, educators and student groups
—will offer engaging, hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.
This year, guests can explore everything from robotics and space to nuclear science, biology, chemistry, neuroscience, biodiversity, and much more. It's an opportunity for children and families to meet STEM professionals, experience science firsthand, and discover the incredible STEM resources and career opportunities available throughout our region.

Area 5 Community Input: We want to hear from you!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Area 5 community input meeting. During the meeting, we shared information on the proposed plan of constructing a middle school addition on the campus of the new Silver Bluff High School to serve students currently attending Jackson and New Ellenton middle schools. We also covered the consideration of renovating and repurposing New Ellenton Middle School as an elementary school for students currently attending Greendale Elementary. School Board members previewed this plan during their August 25th meeting.
If you were unable to attend our New Ellenton and Jackson Middle School meetings, or would like to revisit the information that was presented, the Jackson Middle School presentation is now available on YouTube.
We also invite Area 5 families, staff, and community members to share their feedback through our Community Input Survey.
Your input helps us better understand the priorities and perspectives of our community.
