Our School Social Worker, Ms. Jones, and School Counselors, Dr. Johnson and Ms. Valentine, recently hosted our latest "Chat & Chew" student session, focusing on the critical topics of Effective Communication and Safety. During the workshop, students learned valuable strategies for expressing their needs clearly, navigating peer relationships positively, and maintaining safety both online and within our community.
Thanks to an incredibly generous in-kind food donation from Chick-fil-A, our students were treated to a delicious meal of chicken biscuits, fruit and orange juice, while engaging in these vital conversations.
Providing a familiar, comforting meal breaks down barriers, making it easier for students to open up to discuss important life skills. Chick-fil-A’s investment in our school ensures that our students in War Eagle Country have the care, support, and resources they need to thrive.
