Your War Eagle Marching Band has been working diligently and has achieved a season of ALL Excellent ratings at our competitions. This is a huge contrast to last season, where we had to wait until our performance at 1A State Prelims to achieve that.
This season, we have gone out and BEATEN schools we didn't come close to last year. At White Knoll, we beat Brooklyn-Cayce (a 3A school), and last Saturday [October 25th] at Ware Shoals, we beat Fox Creek for the first time in school history! While the only score that matters is our own, and the only band we ever try to beat is the band we were the day before, it certainly is nice to see our scores reflect the hard work that has been put in ... and I'd be lying if I said it doesn't feel good to see the War Eagles above other bands.
