This experience directly supported the South Carolina Kindergarten Science Standards:
K.P.4A.1: Recognize the different ways objects move (straight, zigzag, round and round, back and forth, fast and slow).
K.P.4A.2: Develop and use models to predict and explain the effects of pushing or pulling on an object.

đśâ¨ Last week our 4th grade Dolphins had the incredible opportunity to travel to Aiken High School for a live performance by the Aiken Civic Orchestra as part of Carnegie Hallâs Link Up Program: The Orchestra Sings! đŹđđ
Our students were absolutely amazed by the music and had a fantastic time experiencing the power of a live orchestra. đťđĽđş One of the highlights was when our own music teachers took the stage, showcasing their talents on the recorder and even an ocarinaâthe students were thrilled to see their teachers shine! đ

Our 3rd Grade Dolphins had a rockinâ on-campus field trip with Diamond Delâs Gem Mining Adventure today! đŹđ Students sifted, searched, and discovered real gems and minerals right here at school.
Diamond Delâs program brings the field trip to us and is designed to spark curiosity about rocks, minerals, and earth science concepts. It connects perfectly to our science standards while showing students that learning can be hands-on, exciting, and FUN! đđŹ
