FALL INTERSESSION CODING CAMP | GRADES 3-5
During Fall Intersession, the week of September 29âOctober 2, a limited number of spots are available for this yearâs Coding Camp for students in grades 3â5.
Coding Camp will be held at Mossy Creek Elementary School, MondayâThursday, 8:00 a.m.â1:00 p.m. Students will get a fun, hands-on introduction to coding and problem-solving through activities such as Sphero robots, drones, 3D printing, Makey-Makey, and more.
Registration opens Wednesday, September 10, at 4 p.m. for ACPSD elementary students in grades 3-5 and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to space limitations, only the first 100 students to apply will be accepted. Once the application window opens, parents/guardians can apply by scanning the QR Code or completing the Coding Camp Registration form.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day of camp; however, families are responsible for transportation to Mossy Creek Elementary.

Today, Emma and Chloe, two talented Teacher Cadets from North Augusta High School, spent time in Mrs. Rutlandâs first-grade classroom, helping students and learning firsthand what it takes to be an amazing teacher.
Teacher Cadets are high school students who are exploring the teaching professionâthey get hands-on experience in classrooms, learning about lesson planning, student engagement, and classroom management. Emma and Chloe had the opportunity to assist with activities, observe teaching strategies, and gain insight into the rewarding work of educators.

Ms. Smithâs 2nd graders made math colorful today by practicing arrays and repeated addition using Froot Loops! đ Students explored how grouping objects can help them understand multiplication concepts in a hands-on (and tasty!) way. đŹđđ
