Today our administrators, teachers, and staff had an absolute ball—or should we say TURKEY—at our 2nd Annual Turkey Bowl! 🤣🍗

Congratulations to Mrs. DeLattre, our 2025 Turkey Bowl Champion! 🏆
And a big shoutout to Mr. Hill, who slid into a well-earned second place! 👏

Laughter filled the halls as everyone took their turn slinging the turkey and showing off their “best” bowling skills. It was a feather-flapping good time from start to finish!

We love celebrating teamwork, joy, and a little friendly competition here at NAUES. 💛💙🐬

What a wonderful day in Kindergarten! Our littlest Dolphins celebrated friendship, gratitude, and togetherness with a special Thanksgiving Feast. The smiles were big, the conversations were sweet, and the memories made were priceless!

Our students looked absolutely adorable dressed in their festive outfits as they learned about the First Thanksgiving, shared laughs with friends, and enjoyed a feast created just for them.

We are so thankful for our amazing Kindergarten teachers, support staff, and families for helping make today so meaningful and magical for our students. 💛💙

This morning’s All PRO DADS meeting was truly inspiring! Our students, dads, uncles, grandfathers, and father figures came together for a powerful discussion focused on CONFIDENCE — believing in yourself, trusting your abilities, and being proud of who you are. 💪🐬

⭐ What is Confidence?

Confidence is the belief that you can do hard things, make good choices, and grow from challenges. It helps children try new experiences, take healthy risks, and bounce back when something feels difficult.

💡 How Parents & Teachers Can Help Build Confidence

Here are simple, everyday ways we can support our Dolphins:

Celebrate effort, not just results. (“I’m proud of how hard you worked!”)

Let them try before stepping in to help.

Encourage positive self-talk. (“I can do this! I won’t give up!”)

Model confidence ourselves. Kids learn by watching us.

Create safe spaces to share feelings and challenges.

Give responsibilities and leadership roles.

When children feel confident, they are more willing to learn, participate, and believe in their own potential. Confidence builds resilience—and resilience builds success.

Our Kindergarten students were living their best life today on their amazing adventure to Sara’s Farm Adventure in Trenton, South Carolina! From the moment they hopped off the bus, the day was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories. 💛💙
Our little Dolphins got hands-on farm fun with activities that included:

🚜 Relaxing hayrides
🟨 Jumping pillows full of giggles
🏁 Tractor pulls
🪵 Wooden playscape fun

🎈✨ Balloons Over NAUES! ✨🎈

Our amazing Second Grade students brought the magic to life today! After reading Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy’s Parade by Melissa Sweet, our young designers rolled up their sleeves, used their creativity, and designed, built, and paraded their very own balloons through the halls of NAUES! 🎨🛠️🎈

The smiles were big… but the PRIDE was even bigger! ❤️ Our students showcased imagination, teamwork, and problem-solving as they created their masterpieces, and every balloon was a showstopper!

A HUGE thank-you to our incredible second-grade teachers for bringing this joyful and memorable learning experience to life. Thank you for encouraging our students to shine, explore their creativity, and make moments of joy that they’ll remember forever. 💛💙🐬

Mrs. Spires and her wonderful third-grade class absolutely loved having BK Jiunnies, a senior from North Augusta High School, as their Teacher Cadet this semester! 💛💙

BK brought love, laughter, and leadership into the classroom every single day. From helping students with their learning to building meaningful connections, BK truly made a difference in the lives of our Dolphins. 🐬✨

With catchy rhythms, upbeat chants, and tons of enthusiasm, students are turning math practice into a fun and memorable experience. Their confidence is growing, their fluency is improving, and the smiles say it all — learning is better when you add a little melody! 🎶🙌

Her kindness, patience, and willingness to help have made such a difference in the lives of our young Dolphins.

From reading with students to assisting with activities, Emma has been a leader, a helper, and a role model. Mrs. Rutland’s class is incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart she poured into their learning this semester. 💛

📚💛 Big Sister Reading Magic! 💙🐬

Today was a very special day in Ms. Girardeau’s Kindergarten class!
Lyla, one of our fantastic fourth graders, stopped by as a visiting reader — and the smiles she brought with her lit up the whole room. ✨

She proudly read a favorite Pete the Cat story to the kindergarteners, keeping them engaged with her expression, confidence, and love for reading. The students hung onto every word!

And to make the moment even sweeter… one of the listeners was her very own little brother, Fynn! 💛 Watching big sister read to little brother was a memory-maker for everyone in the room — a beautiful reminder of the family connections and leadership we celebrate at NAUES.

🍩 Sweet Success in Fourth Grade! 🍩

Mrs. Lewis’s Fourth Grade students celebrated a delicious achievement today! 🎉

These hardworking Dolphins earned 100 scores of 100 on their i-Ready Math and Reading lessons — and their teamwork paid off in the sweetest way!

Students worked together to fill in a colorful 100-donut chart, each space representing a perfect score. And this week… they reached the goal! 🙌💯

As a reward for their dedication, perseverance, and teamwork, they enjoyed doughnuts to celebrate their success!
