Fall i-Ready Diagnostic Testing helps teachers understand each student's strengths and identify areas for growth so we can provide the best instruction possible all year long.

🟡 Kindergarten ELA: August 18–19
🔴 Kindergarten Math: August 20–21
💙 Families can help by: ✔️ Ensuring students arrive at school on time. ✔️ Making sure they get a good night's sleep. ✔️ Providing a healthy breakfast (or arrive early to enjoy breakfast at school). ✔️ Encouraging them to simply do their very best!

The North Augusta Elementary Fall Scholastic Book Fair is almost here, and we need YOUR help to make it a memorable experience for our students!

Volunteers play an important role in helping students discover exciting new books, assisting families during shopping times, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere throughout the fair.

Whether you can volunteer for an hour or several, your time and support make a lasting difference!

🌟📚 What a magical Week 2 in Ms. Beck's Second Grade! 🐬💙

Learning, leadership, and teamwork were on full display as our second graders tackled exciting new challenges all week long! Students strengthened their phonics skills, participated in their very first Book Club, continued growing as young authors during Writing Workshop, and explored multiple strategies to solve addition problems in math.

In Social Studies, students learned about important U.S. history symbols and proudly shared their discoveries during a classroom gallery walk.

The excitement continued as students worked together in their newly assigned **Ms. Beck's Enchanted Leadership Houses**, earning **Forest Gems** by demonstrating kindness, teamwork, leadership, and positive choices. It has been wonderful to watch our Dolphins encourage one another and grow into confident leaders every day!

One Chocolate Chip at a Time! 🍪🦴 Mrs. Odenweller's fourth-grade historians became archaeologists as they carefully "excavated" chocolate chip artifacts during an engaging social studies lesson! Using patience, observation, and teamwork, students experienced the importance of carefully uncovering and preserving artifacts while learning how archaeologists piece together clues from the past. 🏅🐬 Coach Wilson's Dolphin Difference Awards 🐬🏅 At North Augusta Elementary, we believe that success isn't measured only by what students accomplish, but also by how they treat others. This week, Coach Wilson recognized two outstanding first-grade students during PE: ⭐ Cooper received the "You Did a Great Job" Award for demonstrating outstanding effort, perseverance, and a positive attitude. 💙 Mhaki earned the Kindness Award for showing compassion, respect, and encouragement to others. Join us for North Augusta Elementary's Annual Title I Meeting & Open House on Thursday, August 13, from 5:30–7:00 PM! Families are invited to begin the evening with our Annual Title I meeting in the cafeteria.  You will also hear from our amazing PTO about all the events we have planned for this year.  After the meeting, you'll have an opportunity to visit your child's classroom to get a look at all the great things they have accomplished already!
