CAMP HANDS OF HOPE - Camp Hands of Hope is a weekend long bereavement camp for youth and their loved ones who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the past three years. This camp is hosted by the Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation. Due to COVID-19, we have decided to host our winter camp this year in an ONLINE ONLY format. Our upcoming camp will take place March 5 & 6, 2021, and will involve a mix of independent family activities and live sessions facilitated by clinical bereavement professionals. We would like to extend our camp resources to any students, friends, or family you may have that can potentially benefit from our camp.
Camp is open to youth ages 5-18 and their caregivers who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the past three years (must have at least one adult attend with the camper). We will mail materials in advance including grief journals, activity supplies, and t-shirts. We ask that the family pay a $20 administrative fee (per family) to help offset the administrative time of processing applications, HOWEVER if that fee is a financial hardship, they can apply for an application fee waiver after their applications have been accepted and confirmed.
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd online at www.camphandsofhope.org. Registration will remain open until spaces are filled. There are also additional resources on our website for grieving children, families, and professionals that work with them.

ONLINE ATHLETICS TICKET SALES NOW OPEN THROUGH GOFAN - In a new partnership with online athletics ticketing leader GoFan, the Aiken County Public School District (ACPSD) is pleased to announce that all middle school and high school sports programs now offer contactless ticket sales online.
Through GoFan, each ACPSD school offering athletics has a page on the platform dedicated to ticket sales.
Fans are strongly encouraged to order their tickets online each week as soon as the ticket sale links are published as seating capacity at all ACPSD athletic stadiums, gymnasiums, and fields will be extremely limited due to Covid-19 health and safety measures. These measures will include mandatory social distancing and the wearing of masks and face coverings by all spectators.
Fans should take note that once a venue's capacity has been met, no additional ticket sales will take place.
Fans who experience difficulty purchasing online tickets are encouraged to email GoFan customer service at service@gofan.co.
