🌟 NAUES Serve Day Success! 🌟
This morning, BIG things happened—and our school is brighter because of it! 💛💙🐬
A huge thank you to our principal, Mr. Badillo, for his unwavering dedication to improving our school. Today, he and Mrs. Morin, our School Librarian, added a beautiful splash of color to the NAUES Library by painting the center columns. Little by little, our library is transforming into an even more welcoming and vibrant place for students to learn, read, and explore! 🎨📚✨
We also want to extend a tremendous shout-out to Ms. Rogers, who brought two of her children to help paint and touch up the cafeteria doorways and hallway areas. Their hard work made a visible difference—and showed what teamwork and service truly look like! 💪🎨
Days like today remind us that small groups can create BIG impacts.
💛 We hope YOU will join us for the next Serve Day!
Whether you paint, clean, organize, or simply lend a hand, every act of service brings us one step closer to building the warm, beautiful, student-centered school environment our Dolphins deserve.
Together, we can continue to make NAUES shine! 🌟🐬💛

Our amazing third graders wrapped up their biome projects, and the creativity just kept getting better! 🤩✨
Over the last two days, students continued presenting their incredible models and research on biomes like the rainforest, desert, tundra, oceans, and grasslands. From animal adaptations to plant survival strategies, these Dolphin Leaders impressed us with their hard work, confidence, and deep understanding of how living things interact with their environments. 🦜🌵🐻❄️🌊

Our first graders shined bright this week as they earned Leader Loot for showing responsibility, kindness, and strong leadership in their classrooms! We are so proud of these young Dolphin Leaders who continue to set examples for others every single day. 🐬✨
🌟 You Rock Winner: Kadence! 🌟
A huge congratulations to Kadence, this week’s First Grade You Rock winner! Kadence is an absolute joy to have in class — always on task, eager to help her classmates, and a true friend to everyone she meets. Her kindness, leadership, and positive attitude make our school a better place.
Keep shining, Kadence! We are so proud of you! 💛💙🐬

One of our first graders was caught reading to the Gnome for Goodness this week — and it absolutely made Mrs. Morin’s heart smile! 💛💙🐬
We’re pretty sure our First Grade Gnome loved the story just as much. Moments like this remind us how magical reading can be! 📖🧡

One day this week, Olive and her 5th grade teacher, Ms. Pope, showed up dressed exactly alike — just because! Moments like these are what make school special. 🐬✨
These sweet “twinning” coincidences spark smiles, build connections, and create the kind of memories students carry with them for years. We love seeing the strong relationships our teachers and students build each day!

From big smiles to energetic high fives, our students had a blast kicking off the morning with our NAHS athletes cheering them on. Moments like these build community, confidence, and joy — and we love every second of it! 🐬✨

💛 World Kindness Day is Coming! 🌍✨
Thursday, November 13th
Next Thursday, North Augusta Elementary will join people around the globe in celebrating World Kindness Day — a day dedicated to encouraging simple acts of compassion, empathy, and positivity. Even the smallest gestures can make a BIG difference in our school, our homes, and our community! 🐬💙
What is World Kindness Day?
World Kindness Day is an international celebration reminding us to be intentional about spreading kindness. It’s all about encouraging others, helping when we can, and lifting each other up through positive actions and words. Kindness inspires connection — and connection strengthens our Dolphin family! 💛
How Parents & Teachers Can Help Students Celebrate:
🌟 Model Kindness — Let children see acts of patience, gratitude, and compassion in action.
🌟 Encourage Small Acts — Hold the door, share a compliment, help a classmate, or include someone new at playtime.
🌟 Talk About Empathy — Ask questions like “How can we make someone’s day better?” or “How would this act make you feel?”
🌟 Write a Kind Note — Send a positive message to a teacher, friend, staff member, or family member.
🌟 Celebrate Acts of Kindness at Home — Recognize when your child shows kindness, no matter how small.
Let’s work together to make kindness a daily habit — every day. When our students learn that kindness is powerful, they become leaders who make the world a better place. 💛💙🐬

She is also known for her teamwork and leadership across the school. Whether she’s helping design bulletin boards, leading hallway decoration projects, or contributing her artistic eye to special events, Mrs. Todd brings joy and beauty to every corner of our building.

Her 4K classroom is a joyful and nurturing space where children feel safe to explore, play, and learn. She skillfully balances structure and imagination, guiding her students through foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth — all while making learning fun and engaging.
Colleagues describe Ms. Ashe as a “ray of sunshine” who brings energy and enthusiasm to every school day. She approaches each challenge with a smile and a “can-do” attitude, working closely with her team to support both students and families.
Ms. Ashe’s dedication, warmth, and passion for teaching make her an outstanding example of what it means to be a Dolphin Leader. We are so proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see all she will achieve in the years to come! 🐬✨

Her warmth and compassion help create the welcoming environment that defines North Augusta Elementary.
Known for her dependability and generous spirit, Mrs. Ulmer never hesitates to step in wherever she’s needed. Whether she’s assisting with school events, coordinating logistics, decorating for special celebrations, or helping students and families navigate daily needs, Mrs. Ulmer does it all with grace and excellence.
