📣 Join Us for the 14th Season of the Dolphin Dash! 🏃♂️🐬🏃♀️
We’re excited to kick off the fourteenth season of the North Augusta Elementary Running Club with our annual Dolphin Dash! This program offers a fun and active way for students to stay healthy, build endurance, and work as a team.
Important Information:
Who Can Participate: All 1st through 5th grade students are invited to join.
Sign-Up Details: Information and permission slips were sent home on Wednesday, February 19th. If you’d like your child to participate, please return the completed permission slip no later than Thursday, February 27th, by 10:00 AM.
Kickoff and Practice Schedule:
Dolphin Dash Start Date: Monday, March 18th
Practices: Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Drop-Off Time: Students should be dropped off at the back carline between 6:40 AM and 6:45 AM.
Parent Volunteers Needed!
We’re seeking enthusiastic parent volunteers to make this program a success!
Volunteer Requirements: All volunteers must complete the online training.

ACPSD fifth graders are invited to submit an application for the Aiken County Career and Technology Center’s CTE Techno Camp being held on Saturday, March 15, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Interested students must submit an application by next Wednesday, February 26, at 5 p.m. to be considered.
As part of the application, students will select their choice of two CTE programs to explore such as Under the Hood, Team Fashion Design, Photo Pea: Introduction to Photoshop, Code-A-Bot: Robotics, Digital Art and Media: Photography, Cosmetology 101, Barber Shop 101, Aiken Culinary Chefs, Nail Tech 101, An EMT to the Rescue!, The Life of a Biomedical Scientist, and Hair Braiding 101.

➡️ Parents can also add funds through the School Café app.
💳 Important Reminder: Students must have money in their accounts to purchase ice cream. Cash will not be accepted during service, as it slows things down too much.

Our first graders had a fun-filled Valentine’s Day packed with Math, STEM, and a sweet Valentine exchange! 🧮🔬❤️
🔍 STEM Exploration: Students conducted a sink or float experiment using candy hearts in different liquids! 🌊💡 They made predictions, tested their hypotheses, and observed how different liquids affected buoyancy!
📏 Math Fun: Our young mathematicians practiced graphing and measuring with Valentine’s Day-themed activities! 📊📐 From charting their favorite treats to measuring using heart-shaped objects, they put their math skills to work in creative ways!
