All Aiken County Public School District schools, buildings, and offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day.

We will be honoring all of our First Responders.
Any First Responder displaying credentials will be allowed in for free (guests will be required to have a ticket). At half time we will ask all First Responders to come down to the track (25 yard line on the scoreboard end) and be given instructions to be recognized. We would be honored for our local heroes to attend this game and be recognized for all the hard work and dedication they have given to our community. On Early Dismissal Days, elementary school students are dismissed at 11:30 a.m., middle school students at 12:10 p.m., and high school students at 12:30 p.m.
Early dismissal times are slightly different for Aiken Scholars Academy (ASA), as well as our schools in the Ridge Spring area. ASA early dismissal will be at noon, Ridge Spring-Monetta (RSM) Elementary is at 11:55 a.m., RSM Middle at 12:15 p.m. and RSM High at 12:20 p .m. The ASPIRE Evening Program will not be held tomorrow.
These Early Dismissal Days are part of the 2025-26 Aiken County Public School District Calendar and are necessary to support state-wide required teacher training. Please make any necessary arrangements for your child's early dismissal. Elementary school student after school care through Quest Zone is available.

Parents, please follow the procedures below to ensure the safety of all students during arrival and dismissal:
Bus Riders:
Students who ride the bus will be picked up and dropped off at the bus loop in front of the school.
Parents, please do not use the front bus loop for drop-off or pick-up unless designated by special education services.
Car Riders:
Students who are car riders should be picked up and dropped off at the back of the school in the car line.
Student Drivers:
Students who drive to school may park in the designated student parking lot located in front of the football stadium. Parking passes are $25 and all student drivers are expected to purchase one.
Parents, please do not use this area to drop off students in the morning.
We ask all parents and students to adhere to these procedures for the safety and efficiency of our campus. Law enforcement will be present to help uphold these procedures.

3:00 pm in the auditorium (prior to Walk The Schedule). This MUSTANG MEETUP will include a presentation - “Being a Mustang 101”, Q&A with faculty, games/prizes, and a glimpse at student life at MVHS.
Counselors will provide class schedule s for the freshmen to follow during Walk the Schedule..
All NEW and RETURNING students must be registered for the 2025/26 school
year.
If registration is not complete, there will be no schedule of classes created.

Please join us for the drop-in “Walk The Schedule” event on 7/17 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Students should check PowerSchool after noon on 7/17 and take a screenshot of their class schedule to have on hand at the event.
