Special thanks to Pele Williams, owner of Amp Concrete and Construction, LLC, for generously sponsoring lunch from Diablos for our teachers. We celebrated Underground Spirit Week right before fall break, and the department that showed the most school spirit won lunch. We had incredible participation across the board, but the office staff and exploratory team truly crushed it! It was so much fun! Thanks so much Mrs. Vinson and the Pride Pack for organizing this.

We had a wonderful Hispanic Heritage Celebration today. Special thanks to the Gonzalez family for organizing a group of families to cook wonderful food for us to sample. We are amazed at your generosity. We'd also like to thank Mrs. Vinson for securing a speaker for the program. Mr. Angel Maestre's message was both impressive and inspirational. In addition, Ms. Cole's class singing in Spanish blew us away. Finally thank you to Mrs. Mayberry for putting this whole thing together. We know how much her Hispanic families mean to her.
