On March 25th, our entire third grade had an unforgettable day at Diamond Del's Gem Mining Adventure! ✨ From panning for real rocks and minerals to uncovering hidden gems, the students had an amazing hands-on experience that brought their science lessons to life! 🪙
This interactive adventure sparked curiosity and excitement in our young scientists, aligning perfectly with the South Carolina Third Grade Science Standards! 🔬👩🔬 They got to explore key concepts about rocks and minerals, including how they form, their properties, and how scientists study them. The experience reinforced learning in a fun and engaging way that went beyond the classroom! 🎒📚

Last Thursday, our 2nd & 3rd graders also joined in on the excitement, showing off their math skills in a hands-on, interactive way! Both nights were a huge success, reinforcing that math isn’t just in the classroom—it’s everywhere! 🔢👏

🐾🐶 A Paws-itively Adorable Visit! 🐶🐾
Today, our Pre-K students at North Augusta Elementary had a VERY special visitor—Reba the Therapy Dog! 🦴🐕 From the moment she walked in, tails wagged (well, mostly just hers 😉), and little faces lit up with pure joy!
Reba adored every cuddle, belly rub, and tiny hug she received, and the feeling was mutual! ❤️ Our littlest learners giggled as she gently nuzzled them, sat patiently for pets, and spread paws-itive vibes all around.
Therapy dogs like Reba bring comfort, confidence, and connection to young minds, making learning even more special. Seeing our students bond with her was a heartwarming reminder of the power of kindness—both furry and human! 🐾💛
