Spotlight on NEMS Safety! If you don’t know Officer Tuper, he is our School Resource Officer here at New Ellenton Middle. He has served with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department for many years and has spent the last five as an SRO. Cpl. Tuper brings so many unique talents to our school—he’s skilled in 3D printing and even helped our students create the New Ellenton Middle School sign that greets you at the front door. He’s also often found playing guitar for students at lunch or as they arrive in the mornings. We are grateful to have Cpl. Tuper in our building and appreciate the way he invests in building strong relationships with our students every day.
