After carefully writing their instructions, each student put their work to the test by following their own directions while assembling their sweet treats. Talk about learning you can taste!
This hands-on experience helped our young writers understand the importance of clear sequencing, detailed directions, and using informational text to explain a process.

Through this hands-on activity, our young learners sorted their candies by color, counted each group, and created colorful graphs to show their results. This engaging lesson helped students practice important math skills such as counting, comparing, organizing data, and interpreting information.
Learning becomes even more meaningful when students can see, touch, and explore real objects—and of course, enjoying their data afterward was the sweetest reward! 😄

🖌️ Mrs. Todd and Mrs. Harris also worked diligently to continue progress on our beautiful cafeteria mural, helping bring color, creativity, and school pride to our space.
We are incredibly grateful for these amazing volunteers who gave their time and talents to make our school brighter, fresher, and more welcoming for our students and staff.
