💗 Sweet Learning in Third Grade! 💗

Third graders in Ms. McGurk’s class made fractions extra fun by using conversation hearts to explore math concepts! Students practiced identifying, comparing, and creating fractions through this hands-on, Valentine-themed activity.

Learning was both meaningful and sweet as our Dolphins built their math skills while enjoying a fun classroom experience.

First graders in Ms. Council’s class had a fantastic time celebrating Valentine’s Day while keeping their learning hearts strong! Students practiced their math and graphing skills by sorting and creating bar graphs with colorful candy hearts.

From counting and comparing to analyzing their results, this hands-on activity made learning both fun and meaningful. The smiles said it all—our Dolphins truly enjoyed every sweet moment!

Calling all future innovators! Students in grades 3–5 are invited to attend an exciting Coding Camp filled with hands-on STEM learning and fun.

Today, Mr. Badillo, along with Mrs. Ulmer, made a thoughtful and fun surprise delivery for our teachers and staff!

Each staff member received a beautiful rose and enjoyed a fantastic rolling popcorn bar—and it was a huge hit! From sweet to savory, everyone loved the special treat and the time to feel appreciated.

Today we’re celebrating an exciting Leader Loot milestone at North Augusta Elementary!

Our very own Erlinda showed incredible patience, goal-setting, and determination by saving her Leader Loot points over time. Instead of spending along the way, she stayed focused on her goal—and it paid off!

✨ After saving 200 Leader Loot points (our most expensive item!), Erlinda proudly purchased a 1-pound chocolate bar from the Leader Loot Store!

🌺🌴 A Tropical Night to Remember at NAUES! 🌴🌺

Tonight, North Augusta Elementary transformed into a Hawaiian paradise for our Someone You Love Dance, and what a beautiful evening it was!

From bright smiles and joyful laughter to dancing under a fun tropical theme, our Dolphin families truly embraced the island spirit! Students and their special guests enjoyed an evening filled with music, memories, and meaningful time together—creating moments that will last a lifetime.

The turnout was amazing, and the sense of community and togetherness made the evening extra special.

🦷✨ A Magical Visit for First Grade! ✨🦷

First Grade students had a very special visitor today — the Tooth Fairy! Lori Britton from Rogers & Andrews Orthodontics joined our Dolphins to celebrate Dental Health Month and teach the importance of keeping their smiles healthy and strong.

Ms. Lori read the fun story Llama Llama Loose Tooth Drama and shared helpful tips about brushing, caring for teeth, and making healthy choices. Each student also received a special treat bag with a toothbrush and an adorable stuffed llama!

🔥📚 Writing + Real-World Fun in Kindergarten! 🍫

Dr. Moore’s Kindergarten students have been practicing their informational writing by creating step-by-step directions on How to Build a S’more!

After carefully writing their instructions, each student put their work to the test by following their own directions while assembling their sweet treats. Talk about learning you can taste!

This hands-on experience helped our young writers understand the importance of clear sequencing, detailed directions, and using informational text to explain a process.

Way to go, Kindergarten writers! We are so proud of our Dolphins for turning their learning into something both meaningful and delicious!

Mrs. King’s Kindergarten students are having a deliciously fun time learning about graphing using M&M’s!

Through this hands-on activity, our young learners sorted their candies by color, counted each group, and created colorful graphs to show their results. This engaging lesson helped students practice important math skills such as counting, comparing, organizing data, and interpreting information.

Learning becomes even more meaningful when students can see, touch, and explore real objects—and of course, enjoying their data afterward was the sweetest reward! 😄

Today, our Pre-K and Kindergarten Dolphins had a very special visitor! Anna from Kitfox Pediatric Dentistry stopped by to teach our youngest learners all about the importance of dental health and hygiene.

Students learned how to:

🥛 Choose healthy foods for strong teeth
😁 Keep their smiles clean and bright
🦷 Visit the dentist regularly
