Makeup picture day will be held in the cafeteria on Tuesday August 26th. This is the final day for seniors who are not already scheduled with Wilson Studios to have their senior picture taken. Seniors must report at 8:20 am and tell the photographer that they are a senior. Juniors report at 9:30, sophomores report at 10:15 and freshmen report at 11:00.

A record 87 students turned out for another wonderful FCA meeting with Kenny from Hillview Baptist Church sharing his testimony. It was an inspiring time of devotion and praise to God by all in attendance and we would love to have more people come next week and hear a message from three of our leadership members! A reminder you do not have to be an athlete or a Christian to attend FCA, and all are welcome! FCA would love to welcome anyone to attend and join! Meetings are on Thursdays in the gym with doors opening at 7:35 and the devo starting at 7:45.


Next Friday, August 22nd is our first home football game and the theme is BLACK OUT at the Jackets Nest! We cannot wait to kick-off the 2025 football season. Get ready to cheer on our Jackets as they take on the Thomson Bulldogs!

Reminder! Open House at NAHS will be held this Tuesday, August 19th from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. We invite all parents to come out and meet your child's teachers! We request that you park in Student Lot E and enter through the Jacket Arena. We cannot wait to see everyone there!

As a reminder, Student Council Applications are due tomorrow, Friday, August 15th. Applications can still be picked up in Mr. Spears Room (D310) on the Social Studies Hall.

ATTENTION SENIORS: As a reminder, you need to book your appointment NOW with Wilson Studios. Appointments are filling up fast with all pictures taken by Wilson Studios being submitted to North Augusta by Friday, September 26th (final deadline). If you cannot get an appointment with them, you will need to have your picture taken at the school on our school makeup picture day which is Tuesday, August 26th.

Attention Beta Club members: Returning members need to pay their dues by September 30th. Dues for returning 11th graders are $25 and returning seniors are $32 (includes a graduation cord). Our first meeting is August 26th in the multipurpose room. Beta club is for 10th-12th graders who have a 4.0 weighted GPA. Letters of invite went out to qualifying students. If you feel you qualify for Beta and didn’t get a letter, contact Mrs. Koonce

Mark your calendars now as the North Augusta Yellow Jacket Club will have their annual pass pickup on Wednesday, August 20th from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM outside NAHS Cafeteria. Additional passes will be on sale before the first home football game as well.

Mock Trial Interest Meeting on September 4, 2025 at 3:30. Mock Trial is a competitive team focused on developing a fictitious SC Bar LRE case. Students can select a tole of attorney, witness, bailiff, sketch artist, court journalist, or timekeeper. Student teams of attorneys and witnesses develop a case, with local attorney coaches, for the defense or prosecution/plaintiff to compete in Regionals against teams throughout SC. If you are interested in law, acting, journalism, or acting, Mock Trial may have a spot just for you! Meeting will be held in Room 205 in the English Hall.

This week, eighteen students from North Augusta High School trained to become leaders for the NAHS FCA chapter for the 2025-2026 school year. This is the largest group of leaders we have had in recent memory. Along with this, the leadership team is proud to announce our largest turnout at an FCA meeting happened with 67 students in attendance. We extend the invitation to all who would like to come and be a part of this great program and study the Word and grow closer together as a school. Meetings take place every Thursday in the gym at 7:45, with doors opening at 7:35. Lastly, a big and proud congratulations to the leadership team for stepping up and serving/leading their school and community in this program!
