Former NAHS Alumni, Jailyn Leyda, is close to earning her Private Pilot's License. She took this picture while preparing for her "solo cross-country flight" which has to cover 150 miles and include stops at two other airports besides the one she departed from, and she has to do it by herself. We applaud Jailyn for continuing her aviation training!

Students will be working on independent skills and learning how to use their strengths in the real world. After Media Day on Saturday, Coach Bush invited a former NAHS Alumni and player Rashad Byrd and his mother, Carolyn to come and talk to the entire football team about the importance of a mother/son relationship and why mom's matter. After the talk the coaches and their spouses served breakfast to all the players, while the players enjoyed time celebrating mom before the season begins. What a great way to start the season!

Hi! I’m Emilee Losier, and I’m thrilled to join the North Augusta High School team as a Special Education teacher. I’ve been teaching since 2013 and have a passion for building inclusive, supportive environments where all students can thrive. Upon my first visit, I could tell NAHS is a place where students and staff are supported, challenged, and proud to be part of something meaningful, and I knew I wanted to take part.

I am entering my 32nd year of teaching and have recently come over after spending 31 years at Lakeside High in Columbia County. I am a graduate of Presbyterian College and Troy State University. I was told that the people in this school is what makes it special and that is 100% true. Everyone has been so helpful and I am grateful for this opportunity.
