At the JV Football game on Thursday, September 25th, only the home side gate will be open. Parking will be available in the grass lot at the church, the baseball/softball parking area, Lot A, and the driveways on either side of the stadium. If you use the student parking lot E, you will need to walk around to enter the stadium.

Seniors-this week is the final deadline to turn in your accomplishments and activities form to Ms. Moran in room D208. Also, the final date for having your photo taken by Wilson Studios is September 26th. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS as all photos will be sent to the yearbook publishing company on the 27th.

The week of September 22nd is Spirit Week! Each day, our students may dress up for this special event! Monday is Western Day, Tuesday is Disney Day, and Wednesday is Decades day with our seniors dressing up as SENIORS, Juniors are to take the 2000's, Sophomores the 90's, and Freshman the 80's! On Thursday, dress like a teacher and finally on Friday, it is black and gold day! The homecoming game will be held on Thursday, October 2nd when the Jackets take on the Aiken High Hornets and it is when we will crown our homecoming queen!

ATTENTION SENIOR LADIES: Applications for homecoming court are due by 3:30pm TODAY, September 17th! The front office is open to turn in your forms! Applications are available on our website under Students/Seniors/Homecoming Court Application! No late applications will be accepted!

This is a reminder Jostens (Rhodes Graduation) will be here this Thursday, 9/18 for the graduation supply presentation. Graduating students should report straight to Jacket Arena at 8:20 on Thursday. There will be extra packets available in the counseling office for students who are unable to attend the meeting. Also, a detailed email will be sent out with directions on how to order the required items to participate in graduation. If you have questions, please see your school counselor.

September is Attendance Awareness month! Did you know that parents can turn on notifications in POWERSCHOOL for the latest attendance information? Also, if you have 5 or more unexcused absences in a class, you are in jeopardy of failing that class due to lack of attendance! Remember! Students are admitted at at 8:10 am (earlier for bus riders and breakfast) with the tardy bell ringing at 8:20am!

Attention all 9th and 10th grade students! The Aiken County Career and Technology Center will have an informational session on Friday, September 26 in the Jacket Arena. The topics will include an overview of the Aiken County Career and Technology Center and programs offered. There will be a mini walk-through for students to have the opportunity to speak with current ACCTC teachers and students and ask questions. The 9th grade student's session will run from 9:00 a.m.-9:45 a.m. with the 10th grade student session running from 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.

Attention all 10th and 11th grade students: The PSAT will be given to all 10th graders on October 22, 2025. Any 11th grade student wishing to take the PSAT on this day must sign up in the counseling office with Mrs. Batchelor between 8:20am and 1:00pm each day. The fee for juniors is $10. Money will need to be paid at the time of signing up. We will collect fees starting Tuesday, September 16, 2025, until Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

As a reminder, this Wednesday is early dismissal, with all students at NAHS dismissing at 12:30pm. PM career center students will be attending the Career Center in the morning, with classes starting at 8:55am (buses depart the school at 8:20am). AM Career center students may arrive at their NAHS block scheduled class time or may arrive in the morning and report to the Media Center. Fall Intersession will be held from 9/29 - 10/2. Intersession is an opportunity for those who failed a course during Quarter 1 to raise their grade to a 60 and for those students who have more than 5 unexcused absences to recover some of those days. Over 90 students participated in College Application Day! We were so impressed with the turnout and all of the college representatives in attendance! A huge shout out to our counselors for organizing this annual event! WAY TO GO JACKETS!
It's been an eventful week thus far for our NJROTC students! They are currently in Parris Island participating in a mini-boot-camp. They are practicing marching, and participating in PT, obstacle courses, confidence courses and so much more! We appreciate these students and their dedication to the NAHS ROTC program!
