This week NAHS celebrates our teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week, from thank you notes, doughnuts, to giveaways, and so much more, our teachers are being showered with thanks! In addition to all of the wonderful donations by parents sponsored by our various clubs, and even thank you notes written by students, Drew Creswell from State Farm spoiled our teachers with an array of coffee, juices, fruits, and sweets! We appreciate all our community partners who help celebrate our wonderful teaching staff!
Attention Seniors! The "Senior Walk" at our area Elementary Schools will occur on Friday, May 22nd. These schools are so proud of your success and cannot wait to celebrate you! To participate, you must pre-register using each school's designated link. When attending the event, you must arrive on time and have your Student ID ready to present to school personnel. Save The Date! The Career and Technical Education Completer Ceremony will be held at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center at 5:00 p.m. on May 27th. Please scan the QR code for important information and instructions regarding the ceremony.
New Student Orientation at the Career Center will occur on May 20 and 21st (depending on the class). Students who were accepted into the programs and registered for the 26-27 school year have been notified.

After a successful 21-4 season, NA Softball finished the regular season ranked #2 in SC’s 4A classification and in the top 10 overall across all classifications 1A - 5A.
SC Playoffs start today, May 5, at home! Round 1 begins at 6 PM at Jacket Park vs. Beaufort. Come out to the ball park tonight to cheer on our girls! Tickets can be purchased on the GoFan app and at the gate.

Attention Seniors! There will be a Career and Technical Education Information Session in the Jacket Arena on Thursday, May 7 from 9:30 am-10:00 am. Seniors will learn all about dress code, tickets, program expectations, and other helpful information to prepare for the Career and Technical Education Completer Ceremony at the University of South Carolina-Aiken Convocation Center on Wednesday, May 27. All Seniors are urged to attend.
Today we welcomed the Class of '76 to our school as they celebrate their 50th high school reunion! We had a great time showing off our school to this wonderful class!
Today, in addition to our seniors, we celebrated Mr. Rogers for Principal Appreciation Day! Teacher's picture crashed the school with his face - leading to a day filled with humor and fun! Mr. Rogers took it all in good stride! We also enjoyed seeing his mom and dad, Miss Jean and Officer Tom (retired) whom many of you know from the DARE program!We appreciate all he does in supporting our students, faculty, and staff! THANK YOU MR. ROGERS!
CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. O'Rourke who received the $500 TaxSlayer Champions of the Classroom grant! Kayla Vanderlann and Katie Cox from the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl and TaxSlayer Representative, Dana Zefting were on hand to surprise Dr. O'Rourke with this honor. According to Dr. O'Rourke, receiving the TaxSlayer Champions of the Classroom grant is a meaningful honor that directly strengthens hands-on learning opportunities in her classroom. This grant will be used to purchase essential tools and a dedicated monitor for our Tech Crew, allowing students to more effectively diagnose, repair, and configure computer hardware while working in real-world, team-based scenarios. Additional materials will support both the computer repair and marketing pathways, giving students access to updated equipment, supplies, and resources that mirror industry standards. These investments will not only enhance technical skill development, but also reinforce problem-solving, communication, and professional readiness—helping students gain practical experience that prepares them for postsecondary education and the modern workforce. ACVA and VSC exams will be administered on Monday, May 4th starting at 8:30am for students with last names ending in A-K and on Tuesday, May 5th for students last names ending in L-Z. Bring your charged laptop and any sign-in credentials with you! If you are taking more than one exam, be prepared to take both exams on your scheduled day.
