The district is conducting an initial eligibility analysis of all students fluent in more than one language to potentially qualify for the seal of biliteracy. To be considered eligible, your World Language, School Counselor or MLL teacher must attest to:
Seniors: 3.0 or above weighted GPA in all English language arts requirements for graduation.
Juniors: 3.0 or above weighted GPA in all English language arts requirements to date at the time of application.
Multilingual Students who have exited the program: (Gr.6 onward) 3.0 or above weighted GPA in all English language arts requirements (same as above) OR 4.4 Composite score on ACCESS 2.0

Application for the 2026 acGATEWAY Summer program are now available! This year, the application is available in a digital format and can be completed by clicking the using the applicable link below.
acGATEWAY is a rigorous and immersive summer arts opportunity for students who submit an application and go through the audition process. Current 3rd-12th graders are eligible and may choose from dance, theater, visual art, music, or creative writing.
The deadline to submit applications (online) is Friday, December 12th. No late applications will be accepted due to planning purposes.

Fall 2025 Virtual Exams
Virtual Exams will be administered at NAHS on Monday, December 8th for students with last names A-K and on Tuesday, December 9th with last names starting with L- Z. Students should arrive with their fully charged laptops and their Virtual SC credentials on these dates. Exams will start at 8:20am. Students who have more than one virtual exam will take them all in the same day.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear firsthand about college life, academics, and student experiences at one of South Carolina’s top universities.
