Midland Valley High

In November, Midland Valley DECA held their annual Induction ceremony off campus and in the community, they partnered with Gregg Park Civic Center to host the event.  This event gave us the opportunity to both educate community members about DECA and to induct new members into our chapter.   We want to show pride in our chapter and give recognition to not only those who have joined, but also the people that make DECA possible. We invited parents, school district personnel and community members to attend and dine with us, as we provided dinner and gave out certificates to welcome our members and officially kick off this year’s chapter! We have 101 total MVHS DECA members this year! We were also presented a Grant by one of our business partners, the Gregg Graniteville Foundation, to help fund our DECA Leadership Power Trip in Washington, DC. To conclude our banquet, we presented all new and returning members with a certificate, pin, and sticker. This event was a major success.
