This past Friday (8/1/25), our fantastic First Grade Dolphins held their very first Leader Loot drawing of the school year — and what an exciting celebration of leadership it was!
Over the past few weeks, these young leaders have been working hard to demonstrate respectful behavior, responsibility, and positive choices across campus. As they modeled what it means to be a North Augusta Leader, students earned Leader Loot tickets — which were then entered into our weekly drawing.
🎟️ The more Leader Loot tickets earned, the better the chance of being selected — but the real reward is the positive habits being built every day. 💪
Each Friday in First Grade, a few lucky winners are drawn at random and celebrated for their outstanding behavior, leadership, and commitment to our school expectations. 🙌

We are so excited to begin another wonderful school year together! To help ensure a smooth start to every school day, we kindly ask that you please take a moment to review the following important attendance procedures:
🕰️ Tardies
Tardies are counted daily. To be considered on time, students must be in their classrooms by 7:30 AM. If your child arrives after this time, a parent or guardian must walk them into the building to sign them in at the front office.

When your child returns to school after being absent, please send a note via:

To minimize classroom disruptions and maintain student safety:
No early sign-outs after 2:00 PM unless there is an emergency.

Community Support Shines: Victory Baptist Church Treats NAUES!
What a wonderful treat for the North Augusta Elementary School team today! We extend our sincerest thanks to Victory Baptist Church of North Augusta for the thoughtful and delicious lunch provided to all our teachers and staff. The spread was fantastic, featuring pasta Alfredo, grilled chicken, two types of salads, and breadsticks, complemented by tea and water.

Today, Ms. Pope’s 5th grade mathematicians took learning to the next level with a Rock, Paper, Scissors Fractions Challenge! Students recorded the results of their "battles" to explore and represent data using fractions in real time! ➗🧠
It was a high-energy, hands-on way to connect math with movement and strategy — and the students had a blast while deepening their understanding! 🙌
👀 On a side note… Mr. Badillo and Mrs. Boyd — … Ms. Pope’s class is warmed up and READY to Rock, Paper Scissors ..! 🔥
