We are excited to celebrate Grandparents' Day with our Bear families! Thank you to all the grandparents who signed up to join us. To help us safely accommodate everyone, please arrive during the lunch time you selected. Each lunch and Book Fair visit with your grandchild(ren) will last approximately 30 minutes, allowing us to prepare for the families scheduled afterward.
📖 Tomorrow is also the LAST DAY of the Book Fair! We have books and posters starting at just $2!
🇺🇸 In observance of Patriot Day, students, staff, and visitors may wear red, white, and blue in remembrance of the events of September 11.

We are incredibly grateful to SRP Federal Credit Union for investing in the future of our elementary students and educators through its new Investing in Education: Unlimited Possibilities initiative.
At the kickoff event held at the WOW! Club at, SRP Park in North Augusta, SRP Federal Credit Union announced that 83 schools across 10 CSRA counties will each receive $2,500 representing a remarkable $207,500 total investment in local elementary education.
This generous support gives our principals the flexibility to respond to the unique needs of their schools — whether that means providing instructional resources, creating hands-on learning experiences, supporting teachers, or offering enriching opportunities for students.
“This investment empowers our principals to respond directly to the unique needs of their schools and create meaningful opportunities through instructional resources, hands-on learning, and enrichment experiences," Dr. Charlene Heard, Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools said.

🎉 Our 5th Grade Bear scholars are learning to add and subtract decimals—so what better way to practice than to throw a party… on a budget! 🛒💵
With only $100 to spend, students shopped for party supplies, calculated their totals, and made sure they didn’t go over budget. The party was imaginary, but the math skills were right on the money! 💯🐻➕➖

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the parents and families who attended our Open House this past Thursday! We had an amazing turnout and loved welcoming everyone into the Den!
We began the evening with our first PTO meeting of the school year. Thank you to everyone who attended and showed an interest in supporting our students, staff, and school community!
Families then participated in a classroom lesson followed by student-led data meetings. We are so proud of our Bear scholars for taking ownership of their learning and sharing their academic progress and goals! Students who attended also earned House points for their participation! 🏆
Parents also received information about our school clubs, led by our Related Arts teachers, and learned more about Quest Zone and the services it provides.
Thank you for partnering with us and supporting our students. Together, we are building a strong school community where every Bear can succeed!
