NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION - Registration for new students for the 2025-26 school year is now open. Families registering a student who will be new to our District for the 2025-26 school year in Kindergarten or any other grade level will need their child’s official birth certificate, South Carolina Certificate of Immunization, and two current proofs of residency. Families with a child who will be 5-years-old by September 1, 2025, should plan to register their child for 5K Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. 4K APPLICATIONS - The application window for our District’s 4K program is open now and closes on March 14. All families with a child who will be four-years-old by September 1, 2025, are encouraged to complete a 4K application at www.acpsd.net/4K. In addition to the documents required for all new student registrations, families applying for 4K must also submit proof of income or a Medicaid card. Applications should be completed online. Please contact your child’s zoned school if you need assistance completing the application process.
RETURNING STUDENTS - Registration will open later in March. Our plan again this year will be to have a couple of times offered where we will have staff to help with registration after school hours. We will also again offer an incentive of an extra 20 minutes of recess if a returning student is registered by a date to be determined in May.
