As you may have heard, our PK 1 Academic Team has qualified for the National Championship in Chicago for the second year in a row! Chicago isn't just right up the road, so we have to pay for airfare, lodging, and food for all 8 students and coaches that are going for the weekend. With your help, our students could also experience the wonders of Chicago, such as going to the top of Willis Tower, or eating all of the deep dish pizza!

The Paul Knox Orchestra 3 class was invited by the district office to perform at the Aiken Junior Scholars Ceremony on Wednesday January 28th, 2026. The students played for all of the middle school Principals, district office staff, and for our Superintendent. They played 3 selections at the ceremony and did a fantastic job! Congratulations!

ACPSD will return to regular operations tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3, following this weekend’s historic snow event. With temperatures below freezing overnight, please use caution in travelling as some shaded areas may still be partly frozen.
