She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, The National Council of Negro Women, Second Providence Baptist Church, and several other civic organizations. She is the founder of Quintessential Partners in Excellence, LLC. Adrenne Mone’t’s name is engraved in stone in Georgia and South Carolina of work benefitting the community in the area of education.


The PKMS Advanced Orchestra was invited to be the special music at the Aiken Junior Scholars Ceremony on Wednesday January 29th. The students played for the Junior Scholars, their families, all the middle school Principals, district personnel and our Superintendent! The students did a fantastic job!

Congratulations to Paul Knox Middle Math Teacher Walker Seymour on being named to the 2025-26 STARS of Public Education First Year Teacher of the Year Honor Court!
District leaders surprised First Year Teacher of the Year Honor Court members, who are the top five winners in the school district, at their schools earlier this month. The District will host all school winners, recognize top nominees, and announce District winners during the STARS of Public Education Banquet at Aiken High School on March 20, 2025.

North Augusta High School Softball Practice is CANCELED today!

Track tryouts will be held Monday, February 3rd to Thursday, February 6th from 4 to 5:15pm at the North Augusta High School Stadium. This is for anyone in grades 7 to 12. You must have an updated physical form for this year and the proper County Form from the North Augusta High School website to tryout. This is a tryout and cuts will be made. If you are still in basketball or wrestling season with your school, please let Coach Murray at Highland Springs know you will try out.

ACCESS Testing for ELLs is happening now until February 28th.


Meeting for all students going on the 8th Grade DC Trip will be held on Feb 10th at 5:30 pm in the Cafeteria. All students going on the trip should attend this meeting with a parent or guardian.

ACPSD is hosting Job Shadow Day for students grades 8th - 12th on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Paul Knox students who are interested may pick up a permission form from the Counseling Office or Mrs. Johnson the first week back in January.
*It is suggested that 8th grade students shadow a family member due to transportation/supervision purposes.
*In addition, certified staff within ACPSD schools can only be shadowed IF....the building Principal and Teacher sign off on the permission form by the deadline and it must align with your IGP*
