Student Performing

North Augusta Elementary School proudly celebrated Black History Month today with a meaningful and inspiring program that highlighted the achievements, contributions, and cultural impact of African Americans throughout history.

Our talented Dolphins brought history to life through a variety of engaging performances and presentations. The program featured a Living Wax Museum, where students portrayed influential figures and shared their stories, as well as a creative “Time Travel” journey through Black music and fashion, showcasing the powerful influence of culture across generations.

We were honored to welcome guest speaker Mrs. Caroline Mack-Hill, who shared an encouraging message about the importance of understanding and celebrating a lifetime of Black achievements, history, and culture. Her words inspired students to learn from the past and continue shaping a positive future.

The NAUES Student Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Steven Palmer, delivered a moving performance of Lift Every Voice and Sing, creating a powerful and memorable moment for everyone in attendance.

We are also proud to recognize our student contest winners:

  • Art Contest Winner: Evelyn Mobley

  • Essay Contest Winner: Iseli Noble

Their creativity, effort, and thoughtful work reflected the spirit and significance of Black History Month.
