Students:
Reading just 20 minutes a day will help keep your skills sharp and get you ready for a great start to the next school year! Mark an “X” on each day in June and July that you read for at least 20 minutes. Be sure to have a parent sign your reading chart. Return your completed chart to your teacher by August 5, 2025. Students who turn in their chart will be entered into a drawing for prizes during our Fall Book Fair!

Parents:
Summer reading matters! Research shows that students who read regularly over the summer start the school year stronger. In fact, reading just 4–5 books during summer can help prevent learning loss. North Augusta Elementary’s Summer Reading Challenge is designed to promote self-selected, enjoyable reading and to support student growth and achievement. Let’s work together to make reading a fun part of summer!
