📄 A letter was sent home with participating students, which also includes a QR code for families to register for an ACCESS Testing Q & A Session happening next Tuesday.
This session will provide helpful information about:
✔️ The purpose of ACCESS testing
✔️ What students can expect
✔️ How results are used to support Multilingual Learners

District Leadership made surprise visits at schools and offices across the District today to celebrate this year’s Stars of Public Education Honor Court. The recognition program and event honoring ACPSD’s brightest stars first began as our annual Teacher of the Year celebration, and has grown to incorporate recognition of our very best New Teachers, Principals, Assistant Principals, Classified Staff, Professionals, and District-Level Administrators. With its origin in mind, we’ll begin our first Stars of Public Education Honor Court announcements with Teacher of the Year.

We are so proud of our second graders who did a wonderful job of leading Number Corner in their classroom today! Moments like these show the power of literacy, leadership, and community support. Tonight, we proudly welcomed our newest members into the North Aiken Junior Beta Club! This special ceremony was made even more meaningful thanks to the support of Beta Club members from Aiken High School, who assisted throughout the event and partnered with our students as their Beta Buddies. 💛🖤
Over the years, Junior Beta has become nationally recognized for promoting the ideals of Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service. With more than 500,000 members and 8,750 clubs across the nation and beyond, the organization continues to shape student leaders who give back to their schools and communities. Many members go on to accomplish great things, and Beta remains committed to developing the leaders of tomorrow.
At North Aiken Elementary, we are honored to continue this tradition of excellence. Students selected for membership are recognized not only for their academic success but also for their dedication to growing as leaders and serving others in meaningful ways.

Get ready, Cubs! We’re kicking off 12 festive days of holiday fun beginning December 4th! Each day has its own special theme—students and staff are encouraged to join in, get creative, and show their holiday spirit. Participation is encouraged but not required.
From Grinch Day to Cozy Christmas Socks, Elf Day, Winter Wonderland, and ending with Cozy PJ Day, there’s something exciting for everyone!

Four families were voted Best Dressed in our first House Spirit Family Competition and took home a themed basket of treats! Everyone left with books, prizes, full tummies, and even warm clothing items thanks to our generous donors.

A huge thank you to the South Carolina Highway Patrol for their generous donations today! They also presented North Aiken Elementary with jackets and other incentives for our scholars. Today, we were honored to welcome volunteers from New Spring Church–Aiken for their SERVE SATURDAY event, coordinated by Cissy Canales. Their dedication, energy, and willingness to lend a helping hand made a tremendous impact at North Aiken Elementary School.

North Aiken Elementary held a beautiful Veterans Day program today featuring performances from our chorus, dance club, and student leaders. Through song, dance, and poetry, our students proudly showed their appreciation to the men and women who have served our country. We were also honored to share a touching presentation of friends and family who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. 🇺🇸❤️💙

We’re hosting a Hygiene Drive all month long to support local students in need. 💛
