🐻💙💛 Wrapping up a wonderful first week back after Fall Break at North Aiken! From second-grade testing to reading and math across the building, our Bears have been busy learning! We also kicked off our After-School Math and Art Program and choir! 🎨➕🎶 We look forward to connecting with families during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 19. Mark Your Calendars 🎃👻 Join North Aiken Elementary for our Monster Mash Trunk-or-Treat! 📅 Thursday, October 29 ⏰ 5:00–6:30 PM 📍 New bus parking lot behind North Aiken Elementary Wear your favorite costume and enjoy a spook-tacular evening of candy, music, decorated trunks, and Halloween fun! 🍬🚗 💙💛 Calling all organizations and businesses! Decorate a vehicle and pass out candy or treats to help make this evening special for our students, families, and community. Participants may enter up to THREE vehicles! 📧 Interested in participating? Email fmims2@acpsd.net. 🍬 Want to help? Candy donations can be dropped off in the front office after October 12! All children must be supervised by an adult at ALL times. We can’t wait to celebrate with our Bear families and community! 🐻

📚🐻 One of our favorite traditions is welcoming students from Aiken Intermediate each week for Book Buddies! They spend time reading with some of our first graders, sharing stories and building friendships along the way. This program has been part of our school community for several years, and it’s especially sweet to see former North Aiken Bears return to read with the next generation. Thank you, Aiken Intermediate, for making these visits so special! 💙💛

🐻 A special guest joined us in the Den! We were delighted to welcome Jeannette Murray, Area Supervisor with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department, as North Aiken’s Principal for the Day.
