In a short video released by the district, Superintendent Dr. Corey Murphy provides detailed information on the new state-required Personal Electronic Devices policy that will be implemented as student’s return from Winter Break in January.
Aiken County’s policy will allow middle and high school students to bring cell phones and other personal electronic devices , and accessories such as earbuds and AirPods to school, but they must remain powered off, stored in the student’s backpack or bag, and out of sight during the school day.
Progressive discipline measures will be enforced for violations of the policy. Parents are encouraged to watch this video with their student and discuss the policy and the consequences for students who are in violation. We thank you in advance for your understanding and support!

As a reminder, end of term exams will be given Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20th. On Thursday, 1st and 2nd block exams will be given, and on Friday, 3rd and 4th block. Students should report directly to 3rd period on Friday. Friday is also a half day for students, with students being dismissed at 11:50am. We encourage all students to be present on exam days.

As a reminder, EOC exams start next week. Note the date for the English 2 EOC Reading portion has moved to Thursday, December 12th. We encourage all students to be present for the EOC's. These exams will also count as your final for each course. Direct questions to your teacher.
Congratulations to NAHS senior, Danasia Farmer, for completing her 30th successful venipuncture as part of her phlebotomy program. Danasia is among the first Aiken County students to complete the phlebotomy and EKG program at the Career Center.

Spring ACVA Virtual Registration will open on December 9, 2024. Students interested in taking a virtual class, MUST meet with their school counselor and complete a virtual request form in order to register. Students will NOT register through the Virtual SC website for ACVA courses. School counselors will submit the registration for the student AFTER receiving the request form. USC Aiken Instant Decision Day! On Wednesday, December 11th from 8:20am until 11:45am, USCA will be at NAHS for Instant Decision Day. Sign up in the counseling office no later than Monday, December 9th. A minimum weighted GPA of a 3.0 is strongly recommended. See your school counselor if you have questions.
