Congratulations to the following North Augusta Wrestlers who punched their ticket to the State Championships this coming Friday and Saturday in Florence, SC.

Lydia Hill is the Lower State Girls Champion at 190
Nathan Seawright is the Lower State Champion at 144
Christian Hutton took 2nd at 113
Evan Woodward placed 3rd at 150
John Burke was 5th at 215
Beau McIlhargey was 7th at 106 and
Timothy Sanders at 126 placed 8th

Not only did these 7 wrestle extremely well, the North Augusta team wrestled very well placing 5th overall out of 21 teams.

From Coach Franklin, a huge shout out to the parents who showed up for every match, no matter where, and the awesome coaching staff, Brian Sautter, Doug Healy, Andrew Sanders, and Mark Franklin. Without you all, none of this happens.

Now on to States this weekend. Best of luck! WAY TO GO JACKETS!

Do you have a special talent for poetry, art, or photography? Mrs. Zeller is now accepting submissions for potential inclusion in the North Augusta High School 2025-2026 Epiphany Magazine. There are three categories this year: poetry, photography, and original artwork. All submissions must be emailed with the words “EPIPHANY” in the subject line to szeller@acpsd.net. You MUST Include your name, entry category, and title of work. Any work missing this information will not be considered. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 6th. You may submit more than one entry, but no late entries will be accepted. See Mrs. Zeller if you have any questions.

As highlighted a few weeks back, Eleanor Brummond was accepted by Harvard University to play softball! We celebrated her this past week! WAY TO GO ELEANOR!

Congratulations to both varsity basketball teams on closing out their regular season with big wins over Midland Valley during Senior Night! The girls dominated 64–19, while the boys secured a strong 57–47 victory. The night was packed with celebration as the girls were honored as Region 4‑4A Champions after completing yet another undefeated run in region play. The Nest was electric—not only with Senior Night festivities, but also with an energetic ESPN Night in the student section and an unforgettable moment when senior Krislyn Johnson sank a half‑court shot to win free Chick‑fil‑A for an entire year. We also proudly recognized 18 senior basketball players and cheerleaders for their contributions. Both teams now advance to Round 1 of the SCHSL 4A State Playoffs, with the girls hosting Gilbert on Monday at 6 PM and the boys hosting Hartsville on Tuesday (time TBD). Make plans to pack the Nest and show your Jacket pride as they begin their playoff journey!

Everyone is invited to the ribbon cutting of our brand new softball and baseball fields here at NAHS. The ceremony begins at 4:30pm followed by the black and gold game! Come out and help us celebrate this event!

The Afterschool Recovery Program (ASRP) with Ms. Noland at NAHS for today, Tuesday, February 10th is canceled due to system outages. This is for today only.

Attention students! Savannah River Nuclear Solutions will be at North Augusta High School for an information session regarding apprenticeship programs on Wednesday, February 25 during second and third lunch. There will be a Q &A session from 2:15 pm until 3:20 pm in the Media Center for any students who have specific questions they would like answered regarding the apprenticeship programs available.

This week we celebrate all of our Bus Drivers for School Bus Driver Appreciation Week! Our drivers are often the first and last school staff that our students see every day and their impact matters more than they know. S2S is hosting their Second Annual Loving Our Legacy donations drive. Please consider donating to support residents of our local assisted living homes. Needed items include toiletries, lotion, Kleenex, blankets, warm clothes, soft socks, non-perishable snacks, and candy. Donations can be dropped off from February 9-28 in Mrs. Merion's room, D205.
