Digital Video Production Competitive Event

2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference

San Antonio, TX, July 3,  2026

It is quite a journey in the lives of our students who use their knowledge, talents, and abilities to earn eligibility to participate at FBLA Nationals in San Antonio, TX.

As a quick 2025-2026 FBLA Competition recap, specifically regarding the Digital Video Production Competitive Event (Luke Waldhauer, Jacob Seigler, Luca Lobato):

  • First Place Finisher, FBLA Regional Competition, December 2025, Abbeville, SC.

  • First Place Finisher, FBLA State Competition, March 2026, Charleston, SC.

  • 2026 National Competition, Jacob Seigler and Luke Waldhauer competed with students from 95 schools in the United States.

  • Selected to compete at the National Final Digital Video Competition competing with the top 14 schools in the United States.

  • Competition culminated with the National FBLA Finals; ten schools were recognized on stage at the Awards Ceremony on July 2

  • Awarded 4th Place out of the top 10 National Competitive Finalists in Digital Video Production.

Additionally, and very proudly, we wish to share that Luca Lobato participated on the Digital Video Competitive Team until the National Competition in San Antonio on June 28 to July 3.

  • Shortly after the May 28, 2026, North Augusta High School graduation Luca Lobato reported to The United States Navy to begin his military service which took precedence over his participation in the FBLA Digital Video Event with Luke and Jacob in the 2026 FBLA National Competition.

  • We appreciate Luca for his FBLA participation and his extensive video production creative talent.

  • We particularly value this opportunity to thank Luca Lobato for his military service.

Without the sustained support of the North Augusta High School Faculty, Administration, and Staff, the North Augusta Community, and the Aiken County Career Center, and School District our students would not be able to participate in these FBLA leadership events. Eleven North Augusta High School students who finished first or second place at the 2026 FBLA State Competition were eligible to compete at the National Conference in San Antonio this summer. Repeatedly, students received remarkable encouragement, teaching, and financial support. Be assured, it means a lot to our students! To be able to document National participation and a top five finish in a National Competition can significantly increase the possibility of being awarded a scholarship or acceptance into a program for which a student is applying. Participation in a National Competition is an awesome resume' builder showing range and intensity.

North Augusta High School was presented with a banner to display at our school, recognizing our efforts as a 2025-2026 Gold Level Champion Chapter. Chapter President Clara Fleury served as the report author with the entire chapter membership being contributors.

Thank you to every stakeholder for your continuous support and confidence in the students who represent the Aiken County School District demonstrating excellence and a spirit of intentionality needed to achieve quality recognition! Well done!
