Tracy Maroney, one of NAHS wonderful counselors, was surprised with the Savannah River Lower Region Counselor of the Year Award. Nominated by Dr. Laura Lusk, a fellow counselor, Mrs. Maroney was described as her students "greatest cheerleader" and that "Mrs. Maroney believes in them wholeheartedly, and that belief often becomes the spark that ignites confidence and growth.
"I'm excited to share that Tracy Maroney from North Augusta High School has been named the CTE School Counselor of the Year for the Lower Savannah Region!
Tracy is a champion for her students and puts her heart into helping every child reach their full potential. She is a humble and servant leader in her department. She connects students to CTE pathways, military options, college, technical school, and work opportunities. It was an honor to see her get recognized today! Special thanks to Dr. Laura Lusk and Joe Long for coordinating her nomination and celebration.
Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Tracy! 🎉🎉🎉"
We are all so very proud of Mrs. Maroney, and the entire counseling team, who go above and beyond to continue to support our students.
WAY TO GO, MRS. MARONEY!
